April 1st, 2024.

Okay, even though this is not a joke, it feels like it’s the perfect day to record it.

Just to give you some context, I started my first podcast in 2005 and it lasted until April 12, 2016.

So it’s been nearly 8 years since I recorded the last episode.

The podcast was called Vladimir Kempel’s Podcast, or simply VCP, and that’s why I decided to call this one VCP 2.0.

What I have in mind for this show is a conversation about some of the topics I post on my blog and also on Medium.

I always loved podcasting.

It was love at first sight when I started my show in 2015.

I started it because I had just found out about podcasting.

I ended it because I started YouTube.

But I know that some people prefer to listen to a show just like other people prefer watching YouTube videos.

The idea of talking about the articles is exactly because some people simply don’t like to read, right?

Some people prefer to listen to.

So this is why I would love if this podcast becomes a reality, if it works.

Unfortunately, the truth is I don’t know if I have time for it.

Anyway, I needed an audio file to test Microblog’s podcasting feature and here I am.

So please let me know what you think about this idea, what you think about, I don’t know, listening to a podcast, listening to my podcast.

Before I go, because Google is Google, their podcast directory is now on YouTube.

So maybe this podcast will end up on my YouTube channel.

Yeah, I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense, but I’m sorry for that.
