The Digital Caveman Project
The Digital Caveman project is my deliberate journey to regain absolute sovereignty over my digital life. It is an experiment in reducing reliance on corporate ecosystems and reclaiming control over my data, workflows, and content.
Rather than letting third-party platforms dictate how I interact with the web, I am stripping things back to the foundations.
- Local-First Moving my notes, eBooks, and media back to hardware I physically own and manage.
- Open Source Transitioning to a Linux-based workflow, de-Googling my mobile devices, and building a platform-agnostic, minimalist website.
- Decentralized Exploring resilient and decentralized communication platforms and tools like the Fediverse and LoRa mesh networks.
Digital Caveman isn't about hiding from technology — it's about mastering it on my own terms. It is a never-ending path toward a more intentional, independent, and resilient digital footprint.
