Goodbye, Medium.

I've been posting on Medium for a long time, but my articles there are just a selection of what I actually post on my blog. By the way, it is a bilingual blog with content in both English and Portuguese. So, there's probably a lot of my writing Medium readers have never seen.

For a while, I thought I could handle this manual cross-posting, but it's too time-consuming. Just like I did with Substack, it's now time to leave Medium behind. I won't delete my account or published articles, but there will not be any new posts there.

The more I thought about it, the less it made sense to keep cross-posting. I don't read on Medium. I find the algorithm very annoying, constantly pushing sensationalist or hyperbolic titles. I love the IndieWeb community, and I enjoy reading blogs using an RSS reader. So, in a way, posting on Medium was a contradiction.
